At around the 4 month mark, it became clear that our baby was transforming from the sleep-anywhere-anytime child to the i-need-to-be-rocked-or-fed-for-hours-before-i’ll-sleep child.
Mommy read the books, talked to friends and did the research online. Daddy said he’d follow Mommy’s lead. Mommy got frustrated by the numerous methods out there and wasn’t sure what to choose. That’s when Meaghan came to the rescue!
After carefully listening to our situation and our concerns, Meaghan came up with a plan that fit for us. After further consultation, she even tweaked the sleep plan to better suit our family’s needs. Throughout the ups and downs of sleep training, Meaghan was our cheerleader and it really didn’t take long to see positive results. Our little girl transformed from a sleep-deprived baby to a well-rested one. While her sleep schedule is not always perfect, we are now equipped with the know-how to get her on track and we know we can always call on Meaghan for support when we need it. An added bonus was that Meaghan was able to consult with us via email, phone and Skype as we live in another province. Now that’s service!
Sleep training really worked for us and we feel empowered — it’s up to us as parents to set a good routine and example for our child’s health and we feel good knowing we’ve put in a solid effort in establishing good sleep habits for her.
